This policy explains what information SpectrumLookup (spectrumlookup.com) collects when you use the site and how it is used. SpectrumLookup is operated by Tyron Calta.

No accounts

You don't need an account to use SpectrumLookup, and we don't ask you to sign up or log in.

Web server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard logs of requests: your IP address, your browser's user agent, the pages requested, and the date and time. We use these logs for security and to operate the site (for example, to find errors and stop abuse). They are not used to build profiles of visitors. Logs are kept for about 30 days and then deleted automatically, unless we need them longer to investigate abuse or a security issue.

Feedback form

If you send a message with the feedback form, we store what you type (your message and, if you give them, your name, email address and the page or call sign it's about), together with your IP address and user agent. We use this only to read and respond to your feedback and to prevent spam.

Address search

If you search by street address, the address you enter is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoding service to find its coordinates. We keep a cache of addresses and their coordinates so repeat searches are fast.

Cookies

Today the site sets one small cookie that remembers whether you prefer the Classic or Modern view. It does not identify you.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade information about visitors.

Uptime monitoring

We use an uptime monitoring service that only checks that the site is up and responding. It does not track visitors.

Advertising

We may show ads on SpectrumLookup in the future, for example through Google AdSense. If we do:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may add a website analytics service in the future to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are popular). If we do, we will update this policy to name it.

Children

SpectrumLookup is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the feedback form, please let us know and we will delete it.
